"In 2003, Dave Heckman of Metropolis Records released Bunnydrums’ ‘P • K • D – Simulacra‘, a compilation of the bands material on CD for the first time; it was a mix of alternative takes, singles, and EP tracks. The original masters were lost, and we had to remix some of the tunes from the 2-inch master tape, because of the age and condition of the tapes, we had to bake the masters in a convection oven and transfer the material to a digital source. Unfortunately, the tape stretched, slowing down a few of the remixes. Metropolis has been incredibly supportive and really helped generate a lot of renewed interest in the band...."
