Snog releases video for "Adolph's Library"

June 24 2013

Taken from their acclaimed new album “Babes In Consumerland”, “Adolph’s Library” is presented as a 3-track digital single, featuring the original version, an exuberant remix by John Justin Stewart (who played on Grace Jones’ fine “Hurricane” album) and the evocative, bleak and brooding analogue synthesis of exclusive track “The Gods Of Carnage”.

“Adolph’s Library” rests atop a solid Oberheim synth pulse, vintage drum machine beats and obtuse/intriguing lyrics with a joyful quasi-operatic refrain.

The brilliant film clip is directed by provocative filmmaker Richard Wolstencroft (whose new feature “The Days Of Joe Blow” premieres later this year) and features performance artist Clay Ravin filmed on location in the grand State Library Of Victoria, Australia.

Snog are: Dee Thrussell, Samantha Sanders and Christine Arkley-Smith.

With Special guests: Felix Kubin (MS-20), Ash Wednesday (AKS), John Justin Stewart (Guitar), Klaus Liebezeit (Drums) and Atom TM (PS 3100).
